After starring in ‘Kinpatsu-sensei for several episodes, she had a major role in the movie ‘With My Husband in 1999, opposite Kentarō Ōtani. For her performance in the romantic comedy film, Yuka also won the Best Newcomer award at the Yokohama Film Festival in 2000.
