The main photography of most episodes of the series took place in Los Angeles. Orange County, California
As mentioned, Southern California has hosted the production of most of the show’s episodes, and Orange County is one of the many places there that served as a filming location. Just an hour’s drive from the city of Angeles (the main shooting destination), the densely populated area is home to more than 3 million people and has a higher GDP than several smaller European countries. Interestingly, Orange County also has a thriving film industry and has served as a filming location for such films as ‘Legally Blonde’, ‘Poltergeist’, ‘Rain Man’ and ‘That Thing You Do’.
Riverside, California
Filming of a few episodes was also done in Riverside. Part of the Greater Los Angeles region, the region is known for its thriving citrus industry and tourist attractions such as Mount Rubidoux Park, the Van Buren Drive-In Theater, the March Field Air Museum. Due to its proximity to Los Angeles, Riverside quite often attracts filmmakers and popularly hosted the production of the 1919 silent comedy “Boots.”
