Killing Eve Season 4 Episode 1 Release Date, Time, Cast and Spoilers

-

Based on the best-selling “Villanelle” novel series by Luke Jennings, “Killing Eve” is an epic thriller series that depicts a near-romantic cat-and-mouse pursuit. At the trailing end is Villanelle, a ruthless assassin with an unstable mind, and at the back end is Eve, a former MI6 agent and a living encyclopedia of female killers. In the backdrop of the story, there remains the phantom presence of the secret organization The Twelve, which apparently employs only female assassins. After Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Suzanne Heathcote write the first two seasons, Laura Neal of “Sex Education” returns to write the fourth season.

Labyrinth structure of the story aside, the series has charm with genre essence and a stellar cast. In the third season finale, veteran assassin Dasha and MI6 supervisor Paul die, while Konstantin walks away in full bloom. And after the romantic, bluesy ending, you can look to take the fourth and final season seriously. The release of the fourth season is right around the corner, and we’ll get to the spoilers, but first let’s see how and when you can see the season premiere on screen.

Killing Eve Season 4 Episode 1 Spoilers

The first episode of the fourth season, titled “Just Dunk Me”, begins with Eve visiting Konstantine, Villanelle’s former manager. If you remember the previous season’s finale, it ends in a pretty comedic moment with Villanelle and Eve turning to see each other. Well, the romance won’t take root since Eve is seeing a co-worker. On the other hand, Villanelle stayed with a vicar and his daughter. After burning down her family home, she may seek salvation, though she doesn’t have much hope in God.

Villanelle will attempt to improve her manners while hiding the truth about her dark past from her current acquaintances. Meanwhile, Eve will be busy collecting all the dots on the Twelve on a bulletin board. Carolyn, who left MI6 and is now a cultural ambassador working in Mallorca, will take pity on Eve’s quest. The plots will remain as convoluted as previous seasons, but Villanelle’s duplicity won’t be as surprising as before. The Twelve will remain elusive and Villanelle could team up with Eve to return to her former employers.

Killing Eve season 4 cast: who’s in it?

Almost all of the prominent cast members whose characters remain alive at the end of the third season return to their regular roles. Sandra Oh reprises the role of ex-MI6 agent Eve Polastri, opposite Jodie Comer as Oksana Astankova/Villanelle, a master assassin with psychopathic tendencies. Fiona Shaw (Carolyn Martens), Kim Bodnia (Konstantin Vasiliev), Gemma Whelan (Geraldine, Carolyn’s daughter), Camille Cottin (Hélène), Danny Sapani (Jamie), Turlough Convery (Bear), and Ayoola Smart (Audrey). However, Owen McDonnell will not be reprising the role of Niko Polastri after the character’s death in the third season. Sean Delaney is also leaving, following the alleged suicide of Kenneth “Kenny” Stowton.
