In November 2008, Sabine had been dating William Cumber for a few months and they were living together in an apartment. She was last seen alive on November 4. At the time, William claimed Sabine left their apartment between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. after an argument. Sabine’s skeletal remains were found buried in a shallow grave about a block from the motel she owned. Dental records were used to identify the remains, and an autopsy revealed a gruesome picture.
