The Curse of Oak Island Cast: Who Can Be Part Of It?
If season 10 is confirmed, Rick and Marty Lagina will return to lead the Oak Island dig team. Apart from them, their nephew Peter Fornetti, Marty’s son Alex and former college roommate Craig Tester are also expected to appear. Other cast members likely to return are researchers Doug Crowell and Zena Halpern, archaeologist Miriam Amirault, land surveyor Fred Nolan, historian Charles Barkhouse, and Acadia University professors Dr. Ian Spooner and Dr. Matt Lukeman.

The plot of the curse of Oak Island: what can it be about?
Season 9 features an area cemented on the island with traces of gold and other precious metals discovered by the Lagina brothers. They speculate that beneath the depths of the Oak Island swamp, one of the world’s rarest metals named Osmium may be present. Their assumptions proved true when they found gold in the Money Pit area along with evidence of more artifacts that can be found around. However, their plans for the swampy area are facing several obstacles in the form of roadblocks, government permits and closures.
Eventually, the team overcomes some of the challenges and finds more gold and evidence of Spanish origin. As they get closer to solving the island’s 226-year-old mystery and proving the Templar theory, they discover that Zena Halpern’s map is incorrect. They find some respite when Fred Nolan’s predictions of the former Portuguese presence on the island come true. The final jackpot they land is the discovery of the remains of a giant sailboat, thus landing them at the heart of their mission. In the gripping season finale, the team begins their long-awaited search of the swamp.
The potential season 10 will most likely pick up where the digs left off in season 9 and delve into the truth of the origin and existence of the Templar hoard. It will also give the crucial verdict of whether the Lagina brothers’ mission is successful or unsuccessful. Also, the scope of new excavation projects on and off the island could be revealed.
