Does Karina Arroyave leave the blacklist?
When Mierce gives Reddington two choices, the infamous criminal doesn’t even think twice about his decision. Mierce, like Reddington, unflinchingly says goodbye to Reddington and they part ways in a touching moment, opening a catwalk for Karina Arroyave to leave the show.
Although NBC has not released an official statement regarding Mierce’s apparent departure, developments in the ninth season storyline point to the possibility that Karina’s character will temporarily not appear on the show. In the ninth episode of the season, Reddington reveals that he has not separated from Mierce and that his departure is only a break in their relationship. Since Reddington doesn’t want to end his investigation, Mierce isn’t expected to appear on the show for a while.
However, we may not have seen Mierce’s ending on the crime show yet. According to the actress, Mierce could still return to the screens. “Darlings, I haven’t left the show, the writers wrote that Mierce is leaving. 2 very different things. This is not a commentary on what the future holds for the show, only 2 clarify my own actions as Karina. Hope this helps!” Karine share. Thus, Mierce’s return and potential reconciliation with Reddington is indeed a possibility. Since Mierce is such an integral part of the show’s narrative off-screen, the possibility of witnessing the shaman return to heal Reddington again definitely exists.
