Tony Busgallop’s psychological thriller drama ‘Servant’ is as dreamy and elusive as it is grounded. The story unfolds in real time, supported by a cerebral score, witty dialogue and detailed character sketches. The sixth episode, titled “Fish,” already shows a live demonstration of Leanne’s powers, and the situation in Turner’s household continues to cloud further with things coming out in the open. After the incident at the fair, Leanne seems to be the extraordinaire leader of the new cult. After breaking Sean’s minister Nancy, Leanne has more surprises in store for Dorothy. The ending of the seventh episode, ‘Camp’, is shocking. If you’re humble, let’s decipher the latest impasse. SPOILERS FORWARD.
Servant Season 3 Episode 7 Recap
Sean decides to jump anyway. He will be the host of the new season of Gourmet Gauntlet, set in Philadelphia, and the promo looks enticing. Leanne says with conviction that the season would be the best and Jericho possessively snatched from Dorothy. She takes Jericho for a walk while Julian and Dorothy hang out in the backyard. Dorothy has somehow found out about Julian and Leanne’s affair, and she doesn’t want them together. But they don’t do it anymore.

However, Leanne later tells Julian that he is not a good match with Veera as both are broken. But Julian, according to Leanne, does not need to be repaired. On the other hand, Dorothy seemingly forms a close alliance with Veera. A day goes by when Dorothy discovers the sketches in Leanne’s diary. The diary contains the blueprint of the entire series from Jericho to the bees. Remember when Leanne took Jericho for a walk?
She takes Jericho to the camp, facing the cult, and they greet the child prodigy. Roscoe glimpses the spectacle and asks a camp resident why Leanne is so special. Meanwhile, Dorothy rushes downstairs after catching a glimpse of the gathering from her window. She is furious, but neither Sean nor Leanne has any problem with Leanne’s erratic behavior. Since she’s a teenager, it’s only natural as Sean says, and he’s embraced Leanne’s glory even more after the impressive ending.
Servant Season 3 Episode 7 Ending: Does Leanne Leave the Turners?
Well, when Leanne previously left the Turners—or should we say, she was snatched away by her followers and liturgical enforcers—all hell broke loose in Turner’s household. Dorothy has kidnapped Leanne to get Jericho back, and now she decides to send her away again. All the fuss because Leanne took Jericho out to the yard for a walk with dirty-handed strangers. But that’s just the pretext. Dorothy’s mind may grasp the implication of the drawing in Leanne’s diary in an instant and suppress it immediately.

Leanne conjures up living things and events and makes them happen. In reality, Dorothy is afraid of Leanne’s consolidation of power in the household. So she teams up with Veera to send Leanne away. Veera has found the perfect two month course to suit the ceremonial dancing of the cult members – semiotics of dance. That is indeed something if you don’t know, and Leanne even dances in her room, with some Vivian Dale in the background. She’s not ready to go yet and she knows that the Turners depend even more on her grace.
But Leanne agrees, for the sake of the drama. Jericho disappears and returns – there is always something going on with the baby. Veera panics at the sight of the doll Jericho and escapes from the scene. Amid the pouring rain, she suggests that Leanne do the same. Meanwhile, Dorothy has broken into a manic episode about the disappearance of Jericho. But Leanne comes back and says that Jericho is in the nursery – and a baby is crying on command. Voila, the baby is back and Leanne is back with more conviction.
Leanne repeats Dorothy’s words as she thanks her for broadening Leanne’s horizons. By this time, Sean has understood the invisible link between Jericho and Leanne, but Dorothy is still not a believer. But we don’t think Leanne cares much about Dorothy’s scruples – in fact, she’s intimidated to some degree. She remembers Aunt May describing Dorothy, finding a chatter in the process. Leanne stays and Dorothy feels cornered. Sean will be gone for Gourmet Gauntlet, and god forbid, Dorothy may end up taking a drastic step.
Is Jericho dead or alive? Is Jericho getting older?

After the events unfolding in the episode, we can be sure that the original Jericho is dead. The living and kicking Jericho is an illusion that Leanne conjures up at will. By an extraordinary power she has imbued life in Jericho. The story progresses in real time, which is why it might be too early to ask. We don’t know if we’ll reach the point of distinction, but Jericho shouldn’t age if he’s an illusion.
It’s too damn fantastic that the series creates such ambiguity by simply putting a doll in the place of a live baby. In the third season, the baby actor of Mason Belford and his brother Julius Belford turns into Jack Hoogerwerff. Anyway, the series’ Jericho is dead, and if he doesn’t age, Sean and Julian wouldn’t be seduced forever with the crying and crawling baby. We have yet to see the battle between Dorothy and Leanne, which will only escalate.
